The brooders are getting filled with babies! Check listings for take home dates. Older pullets do best if integrating with existing chickens. Depending on the breed 12-14 week-olds are generally a good age/size to start introducing younger birds to an established flock.

beige to chocolate
Orpingtons are big beautiful fluffy birds that are generally calm friendly and quiet. A great choice for beginners and children. They tolerate confinement well, but also enjoy foraging. They can occasionally go broody and make excellent mothers. Hardy year round layers of large eggs that can vary in color from cream to light brown and pink tinted too. Expect an average of 200 eggs a year or 3-4 a week.
The Rhode Island Red is a super hardy prolific layer. The hens are usually calm and friendly and a great starter breed for newbies. They will lay an average of 250 large brown eggs a year or 4-5 a week.
shades of blue
The Prairie Bluebell Egger is a cross of Araucana and White Leghorn, come in a variety of feather patterns and are layers of blue eggs. They are cold and heat hardy, very active and great foragers. They lay an average of 250 medium blue eggs a year or 4-5 a week.
light to dark
If you enjoy collecting colorful eggs, consider adding an Olive Egger to your flock. A calm and docile bird that lays a medium to large size olive green egg that can have speckles too. They'll lay an average of 200 eggs a year, or 4-5 eggs a week.
Cockeyed Easter Eggers hatching from our diverse flock of hens paired with Ameraucana roosters. Pullets will lay either blue, green, or brown eggs with potential for speckles.
white to cream
Brahmas are an extra large breed feathered head to toe and dubbed the “king of chickens”. They're super friendly and often become a flock favorite. They require a nice shady spot to help cool them in the summer, but extremely cold hardy and will continue to lay through winter when other breeds have stopped. They lay a medium size brown egg and are expected to lay an average of 150 each year.
